To preserve console cracktros and trainer menus is a highly complicated matter: One has to extract the scene-generated content from the patched game in a way that no proprietary game data remains, while turning the intro into a standalone ROM image. As you might have noticed, the numbers of archived GBC, GBA, SNES, Dreamcast, PSX, PS2, NDS, N64 and even Wonderswan intros and trainer menus have been skyrocketing recently. This is thanks to a dedicated and skillful team of console enthusiasts within the Demozoo orbit, currently consisting of Xylitol, NewOtzelot, ps1ch and SiZiOUS, who locate console releases with intros and trainers, extract those using sophisticated tools and handcraft, and put them on scene.org and Demozoo for everyone to enjoy.
